Differences between Versions
Home EditionThe Home Edition is meant to protect Home and Small Business Networks with fewer than 20 computers connected to the network.
Who Is On My Wifi stores a Digital Signature to uniquely identify each computer on the network, and with the Home Edition the number of Known Digital Signatures is limited to 20.
If you have less than 20 computers on your network, you should choose the Home Edition.
Professional Edition
The Professional Edition is meant to protect Small Business and large Home Networks who need a little bit more power than the Home Edition, but at a significant price reduction to the Ultimate Edition.
If you have between 20 and 50 computers on your network, you should choose the Professional Edition.
Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition is meant to protect Corporate LANs.
It can store an unlimited number of Digital Signatures. This means that even if your network has 800 computers on it, Who Is On My Wifi will be able to uniquely identify all 800 of them and still detect when an Unknown Computer joins the network. It has no limitations.
If you are protecting a Home Network, you should choose the Home Edition. If you are protecting a Small Business Network, you should choose the Professional Edition. If you are protecting a Corporate Network, you should choose the Ultimate Edition.
